Nigerian Man Claimed He Was Slapped For Tinting His Hair, Police Spokesperson Responds To Claims

CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force, has stated that one cannot be arrested for tinting their hair because it is not a crime.

He said this while responding to a Twitter user who disclosed that he was slapped by a policeman over his tinted hair.

Adejobi said though it is not a crime to tint one's hair, however, it looks ‘’strange to our culture'' as Africans.

He also told the barber that he can decide to file a complaint against the officer who slapped him for tinting his hair.
