Secessionist, Nnamdi Kanu has launched an attack on Lord Frederick Lugard for merging northern and southern Nigeria.
Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu has cursed Lord Lugard for merging Southern and Northern Nigeria.
Northern and Southern Nigeria were on January 1st 1914 made one country by a document authorised by Lord Frederick Lugard, the governor of both protectorates at the time But following the political, economic and security crisis that has characterised the merger since that time, some Nigerians have faulted the 1914 event saying it was a huge mistake by the colonial masters.
IPOB leader, Kanu, who joined in condemning the amalgamation, on Monday in a tweet on his official Twitter page, said it will not be well with Lord Lugard.Kanu was reacting to footage he tweeted, where' a cow was moving about in a medical facility.He said such a sight indicated that the Nigerian Government prioritized cattle to the detriment of citizens.
The tweet reads, “Our dear Fulani Matron conducting her ward round in a hospital in the #Zoo called Nigeria.
“In Fulanised Nigeria, TRUTH most times is stranger than fiction. This is what these Janjaweed have reduced life to.“It won’t be well with whoever amalgamated the North & South in 1914”.
