‘Vanderpump Rules’ producers create restaurant drama in Miami
“Vanderpump Rules” producers are apparently just as dramatic as the cast of the reality show.
Lisa Vanderpump‘s employees spent this week in Miami to celebrate Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright‘s joint bachelor/bachelorette parties, but the men and women behind the cameras caused some chaos over dinner reservations, insiders told Boomloaded.
We’re told Cartwright, 30, Taylor, 39, and their guests were slated to have a dinner celebration at hot spot Bagatelle on Wednesday night, but producers canceled the reservation at the last minute and instead had the cast dine at Katsuya, the restaurant inside their hotel. The cast mates then headed to club E11even afterward to continue the celebrations, with some of them staying out until 3:30 a.m.
We’re told that the producers rescheduled the dinner at Bagatelle for Thursday night, but ignored the restaurant’s calls to confirm the reservation and told the eatery around 5p.m. they’d have to cancel because “the crew was too tired” and they couldn’t roundup the cast. Meanwhile, they had spent their day on a boat with plenty of booze.
Instead, the cast had dinner at Kiki on the River, which was farther from where they were staying. Bagatelle is only a five-minute walk from their hotel. Afterward, they must have gotten a second wind and partied at Hyde inside their hotel.
The insider told us that Bagatelle was asked to “hold the table throughout the night” and the restaurant’s team was “so excited to have them” before it turned into a “s–t show.”
The cast arrived in Miami on Thursday and left on Friday. They kicked off their stay with Cartwright, Stassi Schroeder, Ariana Madix, Scheana Marie, Kristen Doute and Lala Kent wearing wedding dresses and veils to party at Wall Miami.
