Sandra Oh rules out ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ return
Actress Sandra Oh is never going to return to the hit TV show “Grey’s Anatomy,” so die-hard fans can forget about it, she reveals in a new interview.
The 47-year-old “Killing Eve” BBC star and indie-movie darling — who left the ABC medical drama four years ago —told Entertainment Weekly that the No.1 question “Grey’s Anatomy” fans ask her is, “When are you coming back?”
The answer? Never! “I’m not coming back,” Oh said in an interview with Jodie Comer, the actress who plays the quirky Russian assassin that Oh’s M16 agent character in “Killing Eve” is tracking with an obsession that borders on erotic.
“So much love and gratitude for that time, but…
I have a new love in my life now,” Oh said of Comer’s character and the BBC spy thriller. “And I want to hang out with her.”
The second season of the critically acclaimed series, in which Oh plays agent Eve Polastri, airs Sunday, picking up 30 seconds after the gripping Season One finale ended.
In January, Oh won a Golden Globe for her role in “Killing Eve.”
